Create the most eye catching details in your clay creation with our CCS mylar stencils.
Features:
- Allows patterns to be embossed onto clay
- Stencil sheets are made out of mylar (polyester film) which is relatively felexible and easy to clean with cold or warm water (do not bend or use hot water!)
- Can be used with any soft clay
- Sheet size 15cm x 10cm (6x4 inches) - Texture area 9cm x 13cm (5x3.5 inches)
How to use:
1. With roller:
- Prepare your clay slab with preferred thickness
- Place stencil sheet on top of your slab and secure the sheet by gently run the roller once across the surface
- Once secured, run your roller up and down with force and check if clay has "surfaced" in the cut areas
- Lift the stencil when you are happy with the result. Stencils should easily come off without any clay sticking on the sheet
2. With clay rolling machine (or pasta machine):
- Prepare your clay slab with preferred thickness
- Place stencil sheet on top of the clay and secure the sheet onto the clay by gently run the roller once across the surface
- Set your maching at the preferred thickness and run both clay slab and the mylar sheet together through
- Lift the sheet off the clay. Stencils should easily come off without any clay sticking on the sheet
